What to bring on board: a quiet packing note

1 min read
packing before-you-sail advice

Yachts are precise spaces — soft luggage and a light hand make every cabin feel larger.

Bags: soft duffel only, please. Hard-shell suitcases do not fit in most yacht lockers.

Wardrobe: linen, swimwear, two light layers for evenings on deck, one elegant outfit for dinners ashore. Soft-sole deck shoes or bare feet on board.

Sun & sea: broad-spectrum sunscreen (50+), a wide hat, sunglasses with cord, a light rashguard for long days in the water.

Documents: passport / ID, sailing licence if any, travel insurance, a printout of your Seamatch proposal.

On board, already prepared by your concierge: bedding, towels, snorkelling gear, paddle boards (subject to yacht), kitchen essentials. Provisioning is arranged in advance — your concierge will quietly confirm preferences and dietary notes the week before boarding.
