Payments, security and how the booking works

Seamatch curates and accompanies — the charter contract is always between you and the yacht's owner. Here is how every booking is handled.

Direct booking with the charter partner. Once you confirm a proposal, the contract is signed directly with the licensed charter company. Funds are paid to the partner's verified business account — Seamatch never touches them.

Standard payment milestones: - 30–50% deposit on confirmation - balance 30–60 days before boarding - refundable security deposit at boarding (returned at disembarkation)

Vetted partners only. Every charter company in our network is properly licensed in its country of registration, with insured fleet and verified guest reviews. We onboard a small number of partners each season — quality before quantity.

Cancellation terms are presented before booking, alongside the proposal. For added peace of mind, your concierge can recommend a personal travel-insurance policy with cancellation coverage.

Privacy. Your data is processed under EU GDPR (Reg. 679/2016) and shared with charter partners only to the strict extent required to prepare your proposal, after your explicit consent.
